Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) remains one of the most pressing global health challenges, with the WHO identifying it as a top 10 public health threat. The increasing spread of antibiotic resistance threatens the effectiveness of modern medicine, making infections harder to treat and putting lives at risk. Without urgent preventive action, even new antibiotics will become ineffective over time.

To address this, PAR Foundation is seeking innovative research proposals that focus on preventing the spread of antibiotic resistance through interventions and sustainable solutions. We encourage projects that explore novel approaches in areas such as:

• Preventive strategies that limit the emergence and transmission of resistant bacteria.
• Early intervention methods to detect and mitigate antibiotic resistance before it escalates.
• Sustainable solutions that ensure long-term effectiveness of antibiotics while minimizing environmental and societal impact.
• Educational and behavioral interventions that drive systemic change in antibiotic use and stewardship.

We welcome applications from researchers across disciplines who are committed to developing scalable, impactful, and practical solutions to prevent the spread of antibiotic resistance.
